IT School Network Manager (Onsite) - Up to £42K

One of the UK's largest MSPs are looking for an IT School Network Manager based in Chesham. The IT School Network Manager must have excellent experience with Windows 10/11, Office365 and Cisco network technologies as well as managing, maintaining and troubleshooting all IT systems and networks.
The IT School Network Manager will need to be DBS checked to work and be onsite 5 days a week.
Key Skills
Previous experience working in the education sector and managing/mentoring Junior IT Technicians is essential.
Excellent experience with Virtual (VMWare/Hyper-V) and Windows Servers (10/11), Active Directory, Group Policy and Office365.
Proficient with networking technologies (Routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
Good experience with Mobile Device Management and Apple/Mac technologies (iPhone/iPads etc.)
Explaining technical specifications and terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining the school's IT network (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, servers, cloud services) and troubleshooting when necessary.
Manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and incident response procedures using best practices
Manage and maintain the school's IT hardware and software assets as well as manage IT budgets, licensing, renewals, and procurement.
Provide technical support to teaching staff, students, and administrative teams resolving all hardware, software, and network issues quickly
Develop and maintain IT policies (acceptable use, security, remote access).
