About Our Client

Job Description

3. Process and verify accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintain up-to-date records of financial transactions within the accounting system.
5. Assist in reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies promptly.
6. Prepare payment runs and ensure timely processing of invoices.
7. Communicate with suppliers to address queries and provide necessary documentation.
8. Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
9. Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
10. Contribute to improving processes within the accounts payable function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Clerk should have:

11. Previous experience in accounts payable or a related role within accounting and finance.
12. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing tasks efficiently.
