Salary: NJC Grade D: £26,824 - £28,598 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

We require a Site Caretaker who is enthusiastic and passionate about the standards of the school premises and grounds, ensuring it is a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
We are looking for an individual who:
* Has excellent communication skills
* Has a competent level of IT skills
* Possesses a high level of competency in maintenance
* Has a good knowledge of Health & Safety
* Is professional, confidential, well-organised, innovative and flexible
* Places the child firmly at the centre of everything they do
The successful candidate will:
* Maintain the school buildings and grounds
* Undertake routine building and general site maintenance tasks, internal and externally, as and when required
* Work alongside the lead administrator and senior leadership team to make alterations, repairs and improvements
* Be the first point of contact for contractors following the contractors on site Harbour Policy and safeguarding Complete Health and Safety and compliance checks on time and recorded following policy and procedures in place
* Manage the security of the school site
* Support the cleaning staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
* Undertake other duties as set out in the job description
This is a permanent position working 26 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. It is a job-share post with our current caretaker who works 10 hours per week. It is most likely that this role will be worked in the afternoons/early evening but hours will be discussed at interview with candidates.
