About Galaxy House
Galaxy House is an expanding service that treats young people with demanding physical and emotional issues. The department is based in the grounds of the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital and is QNIC accredited. We care for young people up to the age of eighteen years in a twelve-bed service.
Job Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a specific interest in Children and Young People's Mental Health. Candidates should have either a degree or Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or Children’s Nursing, or hold an RN qualification with CAMHS experience. Demonstrated interest and experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health are essential.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide direct patient care
2. Ensure immediate care to the relevant client group

4. Manage the clinical team on a shift basis, ensuring effective team management and high standards of care
5. Participate in personal development and review processes to achieve professional growth
