Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our fantastic General Radiography team at Withybush General Hospital (WGH). The Radiology department here at WGH has gratefully benefited from significant Welsh government investment over the last two years. Lots of the equipment is brand new with more planned replacements in the near future. We have a range of modalities including two CT scanners, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, General and A&E X‑ray rooms and Fluoroscopy. A small but dynamic team, we offer great role extension opportunities as a Health Board, with radiographers reporting on a range of studies including CT and Nuclear Medicine and other post‑grad study.
Main duties of the job
* Working within the General X‑ray area, including imaging of scheduled out patients, GP patients, minor injury, accident and emergency and inpatient cases.
* Rotation through theatres and mobiles, fluoroscopy and CT with potential to work within the community sites including Tenby Cottage Hospital.
* Participation within the out‑of‑hours on‑call system.
* Speak Welsh is desirable but English is also welcome.

Person Specification
* Qualifications and Knowledge
BSc Diagnostic Imaging (or equivalent), active HCPC registration
* Desirable
CPD Portfolio, Working experience as a Diagnostic Radiographer
Experience
* Essential
Skilled in projectional radiography techniques and modification of exposure factors. Experience of using radiology IT and PACS systems to record and review patient specific information.
* Desirable
Experience of using different systems (CR, DR and equipment from different providers).

* Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
