Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer - Fire Detection
Location: London, United Kingdom (On-site)
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the PPM Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on a wide range of assets, mainly in the Trackside environment. The role involves working on a permanent night shift from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. Autonomous work and safety are paramount, with extensive travel between stations, requiring a full driver's license.
Key responsibilities include:
* Completing preventative maintenance tasks nightly
* Guiding daily task delivery aligned with business expectations
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Maintaining health and safety standards
* Monitoring work for compliance
* Using ServiceNow to update visit reports
Additional responsibilities:
* Providing accurate site reports
* Completing maintenance as per schedule
* Ensuring maintenance standards and reporting issues
* Timely administrative task completion
* Adhering to QEHS and drug & alcohol policies
Qualifications / Skills:
* Understanding of system maintenance procedures relevant to the contract
* Experience with relevant systems
* Experience in the LUL or Rail environment
Candidate profile:
Seeking an engineer with fire maintenance (PPM) experience, preferably in London Underground or Network Rail. The role requires working nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm – 6 am, with previous multi-site maintenance experience, full UK driving license, and drug & alcohol testing clearance.
