Job Description
The Real Estate Partner will be:
3. Leading the strategy and development of the real estate / property practice in Newcastle
4. Originating and winning high-value real estate mandates (development, investment, landlord/occupier, disposals)
5. Managing complex transactions, negotiating deals and overseeing execution
6. Building and leveraging relationships with clients, developers, investors, and institutional contacts
7. Supervising, mentoring and growing a team of solicitors and associates
8. Collaborating closely with other practice groups
9. Setting budgets, billing, profitability targets and performance management
10. Representing the firm at client, industry, networking and business development events
The Successful Applicant
The Real Estate Partner should be:
11. A partner or equivalent senior legal leader with an established real estate practice
12. Able to bring a strong portfolio of clients, contacts and mandates
13. Experienced in development, investment, landlord / occupier, site acquisition work
14. Skilled in negotiation, strategy, and commercial leadership
15. Proven track record in business development and revenue growth
16. Able to lead, manage and inspire a team, with strong people management skills
17. Have ties to Newcastle upon Tyne
