White Collar Consultant - Rail | Power | Infrastructure at Linear Recruitment Ltd - Commercial - CertRP
Key Responsibilities
* Produce Subcontract documentation, including terms, prices, and programme negotiations.
* Manage subcontract works packages, interim assessments, and change management.
* Issue commercial notices to Clients and Subcontractors as per the contract.
* Manage timely contract changes, including Compensation Event Quotations.
* Submit and agree monthly applications with the Client.
* Liaise with operational and engineering teams to maintain site record standards.
* Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR).
* Maintain a ‘Cost Plan,’ tracking and forecasting expenditure.
* Interpret and evaluate internal cost system expenditure reports.
* Attend progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors.
* Maximise value and profit, applying ‘Doing the right thing’ principles.
* Assist estimating and bid teams with contractual expertise.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Strong understanding of standard forms of contract.
* Proficient in Excel, Word, CEMAR, and Oracle systems.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Experience with NEC3/4 Option C.
* Professional qualification (MCIOB or MRICS, or working towards it).
* Experience in Civil Engineering (Highways, Rail, Water, Aviation).
* Exposure to large or multiple smaller schemes.
