Job: Administrator x2 – Compliance

Hours: 37 per week
Rate: £25,000 / £13.77 - £15.68 per hour
Are you an organised and detail-focused administrator who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes?
BRC are recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join a friendly and dedicated housing team on a temporary contract basis.
Duties:
In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative support across key compliance areas such as asbestos, fire safety, electrical, gas, water, mechanical systems and estates.
Maintain accurate records and data to meet audit and compliance requirements
Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support service delivery
Raise purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and assist with financial administration
Prepare reports, manage documents, and ensure compliance systems are up to date
Support coordinators and managers with information management and reporting tasks

You’re proactive, organised, and take ownership of your work. You care about accuracy, communication, and doing things properly. You enjoy being part of a supportive team that makes a difference to tenants, customers, and communities.
Requirements:
You’ll be someone who takes pride in accuracy, enjoys working with data, and can manage multiple priorities with ease.
GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at grade C or above
Strong IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets, document creation, and cloud-based systems (Google Workspace experience a plus)
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
Confidence in liaising with colleagues, contractors, and external partners
Experience in an administrative, compliance or data-focused environment Desirable experience includes knowledge of purchasing, procurement, or working with trades and construction services.
Terms & Conditions:
Competitive salary/hourly rate
37-hour week, worked flexibly between 8am–6pm, Monday to Friday
Hybrid working – combine home and office-based work
25 days’ annual leave, rising by one day per year (up to 30 days) plus bank holidays
