Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Early Years
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support Early Years pupils in a nurturing and engaging environment. The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education and have strong experience managing challenging behaviour in young children.
You will play a key role in supporting high-quality learning experiences while working closely with both staff and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in delivering high-quality learning experiences for Early Years pupils between 07:30-17:30
Develop and implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive behaviour
Work closely with parents and carers to ensure consistent support at home and in school
Support the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track pupil progress
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Essential Qualifications & Skills
Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education / Nursery Assistant
Significant experience managing behaviour in young children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A strong commitment to supporting all pupils, including those with special educational needs
Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework
