Maintenance Subcontractor Planner- 30k- Maidstone Full time in the Office- Monday to Friday- 8.00-17.00 My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Subcontractor Planner to join their Team based in their Head Office in Maidstone Kent. The Subcontractor Planner is responsible for coordinating and scheduling all planned preventative maintenance and reactive works assigned to external subcontractors. You will be responsible for booking jobs with customers, advising on subcontractor performance, raising purchase orders, and ensuring work is delivered efficiently and compliantly. The role requires close collaboration with the Engineer Planner and Quotes and Procurement Coordinator to ensure SLAs are consistently achieved. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Subcontractor Planning & Coordination: * Allocate PPM, reactive jobs to subcontractors based on availability, skills, location and job type * Work closely with the Engineer Planner to ensure in-house resource is prioritised where possible and jointly deliver the most efficient solution. * Subcontractors are mainly used to cover peak demand or specialist work-ensure appropriate justification for external allocation. * Raise timely and accurate purchase orders for subcontractor works. * Ensure subcontractors have all required job details, access arrangements, permits, and RAMS. * Send all subcontractor quotes onto the Quotes and Procurement Coordinator within a timely manner. * Plan all PPM, quoted and reactive jobs within a timely manner, escalating where necessary. Customer & Stakeholder Communication: * Book jobs in with customers and confirm appointments. * Keep the customer informed on all changes, delays, or re-scheduling. * Answer incoming calls and respond to emails. * Act as a point of contact for both customers and subcontractors for any job-related queries. * Collect and review all job completion documentation. * Maintain accurate notes
