We are currently recruiting a dynamic and detail‑oriented European Export Planner to join our fast‑paced and friendly team in Witham.
Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate the smooth and cost‑effective movement of goods across Europe.
* Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and partners, consistently utilising customer service skills.
* Maximise trailer payloads and consolidate cargo efficiently.
* Take ownership of customer enquiries, problem‑solve and deliver high service standards.
* Stay up‑to‑date with European transport regulations, customs procedures and market trends.
* Understand profit & loss and contribute to the company’s long‑term success.
* Collaborate with various departments to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Experience in European road freight forwarding.
* High level of customer service (face‑to‑face, telephone, email).
* Strong geographical knowledge and ability to plan European groupage trailers.
* Excellent commercial awareness and proactive problem‑solving mindset.
* Knowledge of customs procedures (training will be provided if required).
* Ability to consolidate cargo in the UK and maximise trailer payloads.
* Proficiency in a European language is a bonus but not essential.
