Family solicitor / fee earner

A well-established and highly regarded regional law firm in one of Monmouthshire's market towns is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join its growing team. With a history spanning more than 25 years, this respected practice has built an excellent reputation for providing high-quality legal services with a genuinely approachable and client-focused ethos. The firm has expanded steadily over the years and is recognised for its commitment to delivering expert legal advice across a range of practice areas. Many of its lawyers hold specialist accreditations, and the firm maintains recognised quality standards, including Lexcel accreditation and Legal Aid Agency approval. This opportunity has arisen due to the planned retirement of a longstanding member of the team, offering the successful candidate the chance to inherit an established caseload and become an integral part of a supportive and collaborative working environment. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of family matters, with a primary focus on private family law work, including: Divorce and separation Financial remedy matters Private children proceedings Cohabitation disputes Pre- and post-nuptial agreements Domestic abuse matters There may also be a small amount of public law and legally aided family work, so previous experience in these areas would be advantageous, although not essential.
