POTATO STORE SUPERVISOR / FORKLIFT OPERATOR job (Near Inverness)
An exciting new position has arisen in Ross-Shire, in the North of Scotland, on an family run arable farm specialising in High Grade Seed Potatoes, and cereals. This is a varied and exciting opportunity for an experienced person, and possibly their partner too.
Required:
* A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
* Attention to detail, and pride in your work.
* Preferably Forklift certificates, PA1, PA2, and any other PAs, any other relevant qualifications an advantage, but training will be given if required.
* A willingness to work overtime when required, but it is equally important to have down time as well, and a busy work/life balance is essential.
Roles:
* Loading potatoes into store at harvest
* Monitoring and inspecting stores
* Grading and dispatching potato consignments
* Preparing growing crops for inspection
* Liaising with potato inspectors and others
* Maintenance and other general farm work
* Various tractor and combine operations when required
* For the right candidate the wage would be in excess of the Agricultural wages board

This is an interesting and varied post for someone with good organisational, numerical and communication skill, a willingness and ability to work under pressure.
