Job Summary:
* The Oracle Finance Functional Consultant isresponsible for implementing and managing Oracle Financialsapplications to support the financial operations of theorganization. This role involves analyzing business needsconfiguring Oracle Financials modules providing training andsupport to users and ensuring the efficient operation of financialsystems.
KeyResponsibilities:
Implementation andConfiguration:
* Lead theimplementation of Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger(GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets(FA) and Cash Management.
* Configure OracleFinancials applications according to business requirements and bestpractices.
* Develop functional specificationsfor custom reports interfaces and data conversions.
BusinessAnalysis:
* Work withstakeholders to gather and document businessrequirements.
* Analyze and map businessprocesses to Oracle Financials capabilities.
* Identify gaps and propose solutions to enhance financialprocesses and systems.
Support and Maintenance:
* Provide daytoday support for Oracle Financialsusers resolving issues and ensuring smooth systemoperation.
* Perform regular system maintenanceincluding patching and upgrades.
* Monitorsystem performance and troubleshoot any issues.
Training andDocumentation:
* Develop anddeliver training sessions for endusers and superusers.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation includinguser guides process flows and configuration details.
ProjectManagement:
* Participate inproject planning and management activities.
* Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure projectdeliverables are met.
* Track and report projectprogress risks and issues.
Testing and QualityAssurance:
* Develop testplans and execute system testing.
* Ensure thatnew functionalities and customizations meet business requirementsand quality standards.
* Facilitate useracceptance testing (UAT) and obtain signoffs.
Qualifications:
Education:
* Bachelors degreein Finance Accounting Information Technology or a relatedfield.
* Professional certifications in OracleFinancials (preferred).
* Experience:
* 5 years of experience as an Oracle Financials FunctionalConsultant.
* Proven track record ofimplementing and supporting Oracle Financials modules.
Skills:
* Strong understanding of financial processesand accounting principles.
* Proficiency inOracle Financials modules (GL AP AR FA Cash Management).
* Excellent problemsolving and analyticalskills.
* Strong communication and interpersonalskills.
* Ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment and manage multiple priorities.
PreferredQualifications:
* Experiencewith Oracle EBusiness Suite R12 or Oracle CloudFinancials.
* Knowledge of SQL andPL/SQL.
* Familiarity with project managementmethodologies (Agile Waterfall).
* Experience indata migration and integration projects.
