Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
Job Description:
As a PPAP Engineer, you’ll be a key member of the Quality team, responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and documentation submissions. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll ensure validation activities, capability studies, and accurate quality documentation are delivered on time and to standard.
You’ll review and prepare Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow documents to support sample development and new product introduction (NPI). A core aspect of the role involves compiling ISIR/PPAP/FAI submissions and coordinating external testing such as plating thickness or destructive analysis.
The PPAP Engineer will also support supplier PPAP approvals, manage documentation through customer portals, and ensure all submissions are right-first-time. In addition, you’ll contribute to quality improvement initiatives, training colleagues on APQP tools, and supporting audits and 8D reporting.
This is a hands-on, detail-driven position ideal for an engineer who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering excellence under tight deadlines.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Quality or PPAP role within manufacturing or engineering
*
Strong understanding of PPAP and APQP processes
*
Excellent computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word
*
Practical knowledge of measurement tools (vernier calipers, micrometers)
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
*
HNC (Level 4+) in Engineering or related discipline
*
Internal Auditor qualification (ISO 9001)
*
Experience with CMM measurement software (e.g. Axel)
*
Knowledge of IMDS and supplier PPAP review processes
