Overview
Beacher Hall care Home, 42 Bath Road, Reading RG1 6PG. CQC rating: Good. Salary: £12.25 - £13.25 per hour depending on experience. 37.5 hours, Days. Beacher Hall offers 24-hour nursing care and support for those 18 and over with a range of needs, including complex needs and neurological conditions, such as Multiple Sclerosis, respiratory conditions, Parkinson’s and acquired brain injuries. The home offers long-term, short-stay and rehabilitation care in a converted listed building with en-suite bedrooms, spacious communal areas, landscaped gardens and access to a physiotherapy gym, social activities and regular trips.

Responsibilities
* Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home
* Taking responsibility for managing new enquiries
* Providing advice and support both face to face and over the phone
* Conducting show-arounds within the care home
* Supporting the Home Manager and Administrator with clerical duties such as maintaining paperwork and filing
* Dealing with enquiries in a timely manner and ensuring daily and weekly tasks are completed
Qualifications / Key Skills
You’ve worked as a Receptionist before with experience in providing excellent customer service. You’ll have a friendly manner both face to face and over the phone. You’re approachable, organised and able to build strong relationships with residents, their families and internal teams. You are dedicated and efficient with an ability to handle a varied workload, and your caring attitude underpins everything you do to make a real difference to people’s lives.
