Supervise and manage a small groundwork gang on a rail infrastructure project Coordinate daily activities including dumper and 360 excavator operations Plan works, allocate tasks, and ensure programme and productivity targets are met Maintain a hands-on role while leading by example on site Ensure all works comply with method statements, risk assessments, and site procedures Coordinate safe plant movements and implement effective control measures Maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and housekeeping Identify hazards and take action to prevent unsafe working conditions Deliver briefings and toolbox talks as required Monitor progress and report delays, issues, or resource requirements to site management Ensure effective use of labour, plant, and materials Act as the main point of contact between the gang and site supervision
