We are supporting a respected developer in their recruitment for a Customer Care Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards in residential construction.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a professional, positive, and responsive aftersales service to homeowners. You will act as a central point of coordination to ensure customer issues are resolved efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure customer defects are addressed within agreed timescales
* Coordinate and oversee remedial works from specification through to completion
* Appoint and manage subcontractors, monitoring quality and performance
* Conduct property handovers, pre-sale inspections, and 12-month defect inspections
* Promote cost control and adherence to contractual procedures
* Maintain accurate records and audit trails of all customer interactions and works
* Produce and submit progress reports to management
* Support continuous improvement in customer satisfaction ratings
About You
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
* Confident negotiator with the ability to manage challenging situations
* Calm, professional, and patient when handling customer concerns or complaints
* Strong customer service mindset with attention to detail
* Ability to assess technical and commercial issues and make informed decisions
* Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
* Ideally, some technical knowledge of housebuilding (e.g. electrical, plumbing, defect diagnosis and remedial works)

Our client is offering a basic salary of between £27'800 and £30'000 (depending on experience) plus annual performance bonus.
