A lovely family in Marlow, Buckinghamshire is looking for a part-time nanny to care for their delightful toddler. They hope to find someone experienced, caring, and easygoing, with a basic understanding of child development. The role involves typical childcare tasks along with some light housekeeping duties related to the child. A driver is required, ideally with their own car. The family also has a dog that needs a short walk in the afternoon, so being pet-friendly would be a bonus, though it isn’t essential.
A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 12:30 pm to 6:00 pm, between 27.5 to 30 hours per week
Duties include:
Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles
Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child
Keeping the child's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the child
Supporting the child’s educational growth
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child's structure and development
The family is seeking someone who can start as soon as possible.
