Key Responsibilities
 * Use life skills to make a huge difference in a child’s life, meeting a variety of children and young people some of whom require high levels of supervision and support
 * Ensure the welfare, care and support of each child and provide guidance and support to all residential workers
 * Supervise staff, lead shifts, ensure placement plans, policies, procedures, risk assessments and rotas are followed and that education is supported
 * Create positive relationships with the children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times
Qualifications
 * NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce
 * At least 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working alongside young people
 * Valid driving licence
 * Minimum age 22 years (as required by children’s home regulations)
