We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self motivated person with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to take on the role of Overseas Visitors Administrator. The successful candidate will be expected to oversee their day to day service planning and workload, co-ordinate service cover, monitor progress and proactively solve non routine problems with a particular focus on supporting the Management Team thus contributing to the provision of efficient Health Record Services.
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills and is enthusiastic, proactive and highly motivated. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the overseas visitors process and the legislation around this, together with an ongoing willingness to develop their own skills to ensure that organisational values are met.
Ideally the successful candidate should hold the Institute of Health Records and Information Management (IHRIM) Certificate or Diploma or be prepared to achieve this and have a demonstrable knowledge of Health Records in practice with extensive previous experience, as well knowledge and experience of tracking patient activity and the principles of managing overseas visitor activity.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Level 2 Disclosure Scotland check.
