Fundraising Assistant
Starting salary £27,933 WTE (rising to Step 2 £28,998 following review & satisfactory performance) WTE pro rata, per annum (based on 37.5 hours per week) + Pension + Benefits
Hospice Band 3 / Full Time / Permanent - 37.5 hours per week
Join our dynamic Fundraising Team and play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising goals. We are dedicated to making a difference for our patients and their families, and we need a compassionate and organised individual to help us achieve this.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with existing and prospective donors, companies, and organisations through verbal and written channels.
• Maintain and update an accurate donor database.
• Record and process donations efficiently.
• Assist in organising and supporting fundraising events, appeals, and initiatives.
• Handle public enquiries, room bookings, and provide general support to the wider team.
• Take minutes during meetings and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate closely with staff, volunteers, and donors. Occasional interaction with relatives and patients.
The successful candidate will have:
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in database management.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
The standard working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, however, there may be a requirement to support some weekend and evening events.
