We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our Eastern team. If you have experience in managing a team, selling to a network of farms in the UK, and you are passionate about sustainable farming practices, we would be delighted to hear from you!
Our company is a renowned innovator and expert in soil, crop, and animal nutrition, offering effective agronomic solutions that are globally recognised. As a Farmers Weekly Transition Partner, we lead the way in supporting farmers to adopt sustainable and efficient farming practices.
In this role, you will manage a team of Technical Sales Specialists in the Eastern region of the UK. Your primary responsibility will be to implement a robust sales strategy, actively sell to your network to assist your team, and take accountability for the overall regional P&L statement for your region.

Key responsibilities: (not limited to):
* Manage and lead a team of sales professionals, developing high-performance
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets
* Selling to your network, helping your team to achieve KPIs and assist in developing the region
* Set and monitor team KPIs
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region
* Provide sales forecasts and reports
* Develop a distribution relationship strategy, providing commercial and technical support
* Provide agronomic support to your team
* Provide on-field support to your team
* Develop/train sales team in technical and commercial aspects
About you (essential):
* Minimum degree qualified (agriculture-related or other closely related field)
* People management experience within farming/agriculture (two years minimum)
* Commercial experience – successful background in sales within the farming/agricultural industry
* Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth
* Ability to analyse market data and develop effective sales strategies
* Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
* FACTs qualified/agronomic experience
* A full, clean UK Driving License
