Spire Claremont Hospital is recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to join its experienced Radiology Administration team on an as-and-when basis, providing cover for sickness absence, annual leave, and periods of increased demand.
Spire Claremont Hospital has provided first-class independent healthcare at the heart of the South Yorkshire community since 1953. Our hospital is situated among beautifully landscaped grounds in Crosspool, Sheffield and it is situated 3 miles (about 20 minutes) to the south west of Sheffield city centre.
We offer a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a dedicated Endoscopy Suite; and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. Specialities include Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, Spinal surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology.

4. IT literate and a competent user of the MS Office suite of products

Duties and Responsibilities:
5. Welcoming, registering and booking appointments for all patients in a warm, professional and caring manner
6. Provide and maintain an efficient bookings system for all in and out-patients using a computerised system (SAP and RIS) for GPs, consultants and other users
7. Collate all necessary paperwork to enable radiographer/radiologist to undertake/report the examination
8. Responsibility for the efficient management of imaging bookings, liaising with department staff as appropriate
9. To present a professional, smart image at all times, ensuring adherence to the uniform policy
10. Manage the department phone calls in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring all calls or enquiries are responded to in a timely manner. are responded to in a timely manner
Who we're looking for:
11. Experience of face to face customer/patient interaction
12. Has excellent Administration skills using different databases and systems (training will be given)
13. Exceptional phone manner
14. Having previous medical knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
