We’re looking for a technically strong, solutions-focused professional to provide technical leadership for the ongoing enhancement and operational support of the University’s core learning technology platforms. This includes our Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle), Lecture Capture service (Echo360), and a range of complementary learning, teaching, and assessment systems (e.g. Mahara ePortfolio and digital assessment tools).
In this role, you’ll bring deep technical expertise to the development, integration, and support of these platforms—diagnosing and resolving issues, implementing fixes, and delivering new functionality. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimise services and ensure a coherent, robust, and reliable experience for staff and students across the University.
This is a highly autonomous role within a collaborative team environment. You’ll build on established relationships with key departments, contribute your own ideas and technical direction, and take pride in producing clean, scalable, well-documented code. Just as importantly, you’ll be committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
