We are looking for a confident, service-driven Floor Supervisor to help lead our Front of House team and deliver unforgettable guest experiences with professionalism, passion, and pride.
Position Overview:
As Floor Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role on the restaurant floor. You'll support the management team in coordinating day-to-day service, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring each guest enjoys the authentic Rio experience. Your presence, communication, and decision-making will help guide the FOH team through smooth and successful shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Guest Experience & Floor Management
* Oversee daily Front of House operations during service, ensuring smooth workflow and outstanding guest satisfaction.
* Act as the primary point of contact for guests when a manager is not available, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
* Lead by example in delivering warm, engaging, and knowledgeable service in line with Rio's hospitality standards.
Team Leadership & Support
* Support and motivate the FOH team, providing real-time coaching, feedback, and direction during service.
* Help manage team sections, break schedules, and floor coverage to ensure consistent service levels.
* Foster a positive, team-oriented environment and ensure all staff uphold company values and expectations.
Operational Excellence
* Assist in training new FOH team members and ensuring adherence to service procedures and brand standards.
* Monitor dining room appearance, cleanliness, and table turn efficiency.
* Coordinate closely with gaucho chefs, bartenders, kitchen team, and Duty Managers for seamless service execution.
Compliance & Efficiency
* Ensure all hygiene, food safety, and health & safety protocols are being followed by the team.
* Support accurate cash handling, POS operation, and end-of-shift reporting.
* Identify and report maintenance or supply issues to management promptly.
Upselling & Revenue Awareness
* Encourage the team to confidently upsell beverages, desserts, and specials to enhance the guest experience.
* Monitor average check values and service speed, helping to drive performance toward team targets.
Qualifications:
* Previous supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
* Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.
* Passion for guest service and a commitment to high standards.
* Calm under pressure, with excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to inspire and support a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
