Document Negotiator Overview We're delighted to be working exclusively with a leading legal services organisation to add an experienced Negotiator to their expanding team, on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll join a specialist, high-performing team that provides expert negotiation support to top tier financial institutions. Key Responsibilities Contract Negotiation: Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of key trading documentation such as ISDA Master Agreements, Global Master Repurchase Agreements, and other derivatives or capital markets contracts. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all documentation adheres to current financial and regulatory standards. Client Communication: Collaborate with international clients and counterparties to finalise documentation, resolve issues, and maintain strong professional relationships. Risk Management: Identify, escalate, and mitigate legal, operational, and commercial risks during the negotiation process. Workflow & Knowledge Sharing: Keep accurate negotiation records, contribute to internal databases, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the wider team. The ideal candidate Previous experience in a financial or legal document negotiation role. Proven familiarity with ISDA, GMRA, MRA, or MSFTA documentation. Strong understanding of contract negotiation principles, ideally within financial markets or capital markets. Exceptional communication and client management skills. Highly organised and detail-focused, with a proactive and analytical mindset. A degree in Law, Finance, STEM, or another analytical discipline.
