About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable and caring Bus Escort to join our team, supporting pupils with special educational needs during their journeys to and from school or college. This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference to the lives of young people and their families. Bus Escort – Scunthorpe and Surrounding AreasLocation: Scunthorpe and surrounding areasHours: 15 hours per week, term time only (split shifts – mornings and afternoons). Additional hours may be required to cover staff absence. Key Responsibilities Escort pupils safely in minibuses and taxis. Provide support and reassurance during transport. Communicate with empathy and understanding of individual needs. Work flexibly to accommodate varying routes, passenger numbers, and traffic conditions. Collaborate effectively as part of a team. What We’re Looking For Experience in care work is desirable. Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing requirements. Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
