About You:
* Newly qualified Chartered Accountant, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
* Strong general practice experience across accounts preparation, tax compliance and audit
* Confident communicator who enjoys building client relationships
* Organised, commercially aware and committed to continuous development
About Your New Role:
Always:
* Preparing statutory financial statements for a varied SME client base
* Completing and reviewing corporation and personal tax returns
* Supporting audit assignments from planning to completion
* Managing compliance deadlines across accounts, tax and audit work
* Maintaining strong, proactive client relationships
Often:
* Assisting clients with business queries and providing practical financial advice
* Supporting and mentoring trainees, reviewing work and offering guidance
* Attending client meetings and contributing to planning discussions
* Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value
Occasionally:
* Leading smaller audit engagements
* Supporting advisory projects such as forecasting or due diligence work
* Attending CPD sessions and internal technical training
Never:
* Working excessive hours without recognition
* Never responsible for negotiating peace treaties with the office printer
