A leading UK-based clinical services provider is seeking a Principal Pharmacist to drive standards, lead development, and support quality assurance in the preparation and stability of compounded medicines. Key Responsibilities In this strategic and hands-on role, you will: Ensure Compliance: Uphold rigorous standards for aseptic processes in line with UK regulatory guidance, including MHRA, YCD, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Develop and Improve Protocols: Oversee the review and implementation of stability protocols and prescribing standards for compounded medications, ensuring effectiveness, compliance, and patient safety. Lead Quality Initiatives: Deliver a comprehensive pharmacy quality assurance framework, manage non-conformances, and lead investigations with a focus on continuous improvement. Drive Innovation: Champion research and development to improve compounded medication stability and support new service offerings. Support and Train: Provide expert guidance, mentoring, and training across internal teams to build capability and ensure consistent quality. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal stakeholders to support operational excellence, service development, and customer relationships.
