Mpeople Recruitment are recruiting for a qualified HGV (Class 1) Driver to join a reputable business based in Oldham on a full-time, permanent basis. * Location: Oldham (OL8), covering the whole of the UK * Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum plus overtime paid at time and a half, and allowances for overnight stays * Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday * Benefits: Extra day off for your birthday, annual leave increasing with service, early finishes on Fridays and various other employee benefits Responsibilities: * Travelling throughout the UK in HGV or large van in order to deliver small to medium sized electric vehicles to customers * Working closely with the sales team in order to plan / manage routes for customer deliveries based on locations and requirements * Upon arriving at customer sites, unloading the truck/van, and providing the customer with a brief demonstration of how the product/vehicle works * Loading and unloading the truck/van at the Oldham depot * Liaising with internal departments within the business to ensure that customer expectations and deadlines are met, and to notify them of any problems that may occur that may effect customer deadlines being met Required: * HGV Class 1 / C+E licence (essential) * FLT licence (essential) * Must be willing to stay throughout the UK overnight 2-3 nights a week at a minimum * Good people skills in order to...
