This exciting new talent initiative offers you the chance to learn behind the scenes of some of the UK’s biggest brands, including KISS, Absolute Radio, Hits Radio, Greatest Hits, Magic Radio, Grazia, heat and more.
Designed by industry professionals and leading academics, this 6-week programme develops foundational media production and content skills whilst also providing industry immersed employability and networking opportunities. From learning how to plan and support productions to developing personal brand and technical skills, this programme is all about multimedia production and multiplatform storytelling. From filming to editing, and time management to scheduling, this course covers everything to get you started in the creative industries. But this is more than a starting point – it’s designed to empower you to progress into the creative sector. As Bauer Academy alumni, you can join our prestigious talent pool offering pathways to freelance work and signposting you to internships and apprenticeship opportunities with employers including the BBC, ITV, CH4 and many more.
What you need to know
* Suitable for anyone aged 19+ and living or working in London. Including freelancers, students, and those who are unemployed or employed but looking to move into the creative sector.
* Free for participants who meet eligibility criteria and have a right to work in the UK.
* The course lasts 6 weeks, with online and in-person workshops (60 hours), plus additional independent study (30 hours).
* In-person training will be at Bauer Media’s flagship office, The Lantern, in London. All other training will be delivered online, via Microsoft Teams.
