Our Pharmacy Dispenser rate of pay
Starts from £12.87 an hour; increases to £14.08 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you could work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12). We will schedule your contracted hours within specified availability windows and provide 3 weeks’ notice of shifts. We support flexibility, so if your available times match closely we’ll consider you.

About the role
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will help customers with medicines, vaccinations, reviewing medication, checking blood pressure and glucose levels, and providing advice to support community health.
You will be responsible for
* Supporting the operation of a modern Pharmacy.
* Accurately dispensing medication, ensuring attention to detail.
* Dispensing prescription medicines with accuracy.
* Engaging with customers, offering information confidently and professionally.
* Providing product advice and service information.
* Understanding customer needs, explaining benefits, selling suitable products.
* Advising customers on available Pharmacy services.
* Delivering Pharmacy services following Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assessing legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions.
* Handling clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners within competence.
* Responding to prescription queries and informing the Pharmacist of complaints.
* Following all dispensary routines and SOPs.
* Maintaining clean, tidy, clutter‑free dispensary and consulting rooms.
* Ensuring accurate prescription administration on time.
* Promoting company initiatives and activities.
* Carrying out procedures accurately to protect profit and trade safely.
* Completing corporate and departmental training.
* Keeping up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
You will need
* Qualifications from a Pharmacy environment.
* A desire to train and develop into Pharmacy.
