Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will manage a small team and be responsible for supporting the accounting function across the Eakin Healthcare business. KEY ACTIVITIES Oversee the transactional functions for Eakin R&D and Eakin France Manage the AP/AR functions in the above-named companies. Accrual accounting and journal management. Line management of one direct report Prepare monthly Balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare legal entity trial balances for the above companies. Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the above companies Preparation of supporting schedules for Legal Entity financial statements. Ensure compliance with FRS102, local GAAPs and regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction Preparation of audit files for the external auditors and liaising with the auditors for the annual audit Other To adhere to the companys Equal Opportunities policy and Dignity at work policy in all activities and to actively promote equality of opportunity wherever possible. KEY SKILLS Essential Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA etc). Strong interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of technical accounting. Good communication skills.
