Patient Pathway Administrator/Receptionist
You will work within this dedicated team to facilitate the smooth running of the reception and clinic areas, scheduling and booking appointments, and ensuring that communication is patient-centered and streamlined. You should have experience working as a receptionist or in a customer-focused environment, with knowledge of customer care. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a desire to provide first-class service to patients and clinical teams.
This role involves supporting the Macmillan and Oncology Unit teams to achieve the Trust's objectives, contributing to Clinical Governance and Risk Management, and assisting the unit manager with arranging meetings and managing workload. You will meet and greet visitors, signpost them appropriately, and welcome new patients onto the ward, verifying their details and ensuring notes are in order. Additionally, you will ensure that identity bracelets are available for nursing staff and patients, and demonstrate excellent telephone skills to triage and direct calls appropriately.
