SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time Location: BH9 Start Date: 13th April 2026 Contract Type: Full Time Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced mainstream primary school in the BH9 area who are seeking to appoint an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from 13th April 2026. This role will involve supporting pupils with additional needs both on a 1:1 basis and within small group interventions, helping to promote engagement, inclusion and positive learning outcomes across the classroom environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted support strategies and maintain a structured and nurturing setting for pupils. Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent 1:1 support for pupils with identified SEN Deliver and support small group interventions to reinforce learning Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised support plans Encourage positive behaviour, social development and independence Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school professionals Candidate Requirements: Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs Confident working both independently and as part of a team Strong communication, behaviour management and organisational skills A proactive, patient and professional approach to supporting pupils Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience (desirable) This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term full-time position within a supportive school environment where staff wellbeing and pupil progress are highly valued.
