This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to join a successful team and improve outcomes for children and families. We are looking for a motivated, organised, and flexible individual to join our developing service.


About the Role

The Family Time Service in Lincolnshire currently has a vacancy in Lincoln for a Full-time Family Time Supervisor. The role involves working 37 hours flexibly over 5 days between 9.00am and 6.30pm to meet the needs of the service. Some weekend work may be required on a rota basis.


The Team

The Family Time Service in Lincolnshire is a county-wide service with 4 Family Time Coordinators managed by a Practice Supervisor and Team Manager. There are 21 Family Time Workers across 8 centres, with line management provided by the local Coordinator. The St Giles/Warren Family Centre team has 5 Family Time Workers working across both sites.


About You

The successful candidate will supervise family time sessions between children and their parents or family, demonstrating a clear awareness of safeguarding children. Good recording and IT skills are essential for completing reports after each session. You should be a natural communicator, able to work in partnership with parents and professionals to promote quality family time.

A good understanding of child development, attachment, separation, and risk management is advantageous, as you will promote the best interests of the child. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification is required. The role may involve working at various locations; therefore, a car and a current, clean driving license are essential.
