Job Description
The Payroll Manager role is initially a 6 month contract and will be Hybrid working- 3 days in Salford office/2 remote.Reporting to the HR Director the role will manager a team of Payroll Seniors/Assistants. Key duties will include:
3. Oversee and manage the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
4. Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and statutory requirements.
5. Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll queries promptly.
6. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
7. Supervise and guide payroll staff, ensuring high standards of performance.
8. Prepare and submit payroll reports to senior management as needed.
9. Review and improve payroll processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
10. Stay updated with changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
The Successful Applicant
In order to apply for the role you should:
11. Have previous experience in a Payroll Manager role
12. Have experience of managing a team and overseeing end to end Payroll processes
13. Be able to consider a 6 month contract initially
14. Be able to commute 3 days per week to Salford office in Manchester
