Job Description
As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the finance process.
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
1. Accountable for invoicing and payroll including billing hours and expenses
2. Process invoice and follow up as appropriate with clients and suppliers
3. Reconciliation of bank statements and ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct
4. Assist in creating regular financial reports to support understanding of business performance
5. Respond to finance enquiries providing support to stakeholders, third parties and clients as needed
6. Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity & Equal Opportunities Policy across employment and service delivery
Desirable:
7. AAT or ACCA qualification is desirable
8. Proven experience of working in a finance environment
9. Knowledge of fiancé and accounts including Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Accounts Payable
10. Experience of an accounting package (i.e. Xero)
11. Strong organisation skills and the ability to multitask
12. Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
14. Ability to be a team player or stand alone
