Job Introduction
We are looking for a dedicated and friendly General Food Assistant to join our team at Dalton Barracks, Abingdon, Abingdon, OX13 6JB. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of efficient and high-quality food services. Creating a positive experience for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that food and beverages are served to a high standard.
* Assist in the preparation and assembly of meals, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the food service areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies.
* Help with the safe storage of food items and adhere to the rotation of stock.
* Take customer orders, process payments, and support any special dietary requirements.
* Assist in setting up and breaking down food service stations, ensuring an efficient service operation.
* Follow all health and safety regulations in line with Sodexo's policies.
