Join the Technical Services (TS) (Air) team!
Your Role
Your role involves ensuring the top-notch condition of mechanical aviation equipment, sub-assemblies, and components stored by Logistic Services. This includes preventive maintenance, investigations, and examinations.
Your Responsibilities
* In accordance with relevant approved data, Tech Services Procedures, and Work Based Instructions, carry out examination, minor repair, and adjustments to a range of Mechanical aviation components, associated sub-assemblies, and component parts.
* Meet agreed targets and objectives for Tech Services in accordance with KN/TS/LCS business plan to support and sustain our Armed Forces.
* Ensure International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001 Quality Standards are maintained and applied throughout the organisation.
* Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are applied at all times.
* Relay customer requirements to the appropriate authority.
* Work to British (BS), European (EN), and other standards.
* Record, analyse, and interpret data related to the work being undertaken. Propose modifications and retest products.
* Certify the final product or system for the authorized release of components. Prepare product documentation and write reports.
Your Skills and Experiences
* ONC/HNC in Engineering or relevant trade training experience and knowledge within the aircraft industry.
* Working knowledge of Military aircraft aviation equipment and processes in accordance with approved data and regulations.
* Good organisational and communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook.
* A working knowledge of Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulations, best practices, and current Air Publications.
* Knowledge of occurrence reporting.
