Job Description:
We’re Enterprise Mobility, a family-owned, world-class portfolio of brands including Enterprise Rent-A-Car. With a $35 billion turnover and nearly 90,000 team members across 95 countries, we’ve grown from a pioneering idea over 65 years ago to the global mobility leader we are today.
Join us, and as the TargetJobs Graduate Employer of the Year and a Times Top 100 Graduate Employer, we will offer you the freedom to explore your potential and progress on your own career path. Ready to make your move?
After an initial virtual classroom-based orientation, you’ll be assigned to a branch for hands-on training, learning valuable business skills from capable mentors who were once in your shoes. Nearly all of our full-time employees started as graduates in our Management Training Programme, including our current CEO.
This allows everyone to learn our business from the ground up and understand their role in our success. Our promote-from-within culture ensures a well-rounded training experience in management, finance, operations, sales, and customer service.
As you progress, more opportunities will become available. You can continue ascending within our Rental Operations managerial track, potentially becoming a Branch Manager in as little as two years, or explore other areas like Human Resources, Accounting, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, and more.
We encourage all employees to be their best, and diversity is a priority. We have been included in The Times list of Top 50 Employers for Women for seventeen years, Stonewall’s Top 100 employers for LGBT inclusion, recognized as a Disability Confident Leader, included in the Social Mobility Employer Index, and named a Race Equality Responsible Business Champion by BITC.
Enterprise remains family-owned, with our CEO Chrissy Taylor, the third generation of the Taylor family, leading the company. This provides stability and confidence in our long-term vision for our business, employees, and customers.
Responsibilities
As a Graduate Management Trainee, you’ll make business decisions impacting your career and the company’s bottom line. You’ll develop new business, maintain relationships, understand cost control, read P&L statements, and learn how to run a profitable branch. Delivering exceptional customer service will also be key.
We will teach you effective communication, influence, and interaction with customers, vendors, and colleagues. You’ll learn sales techniques, problem-solving, and conflict management, enabling you to market to local businesses and build lasting relationships. You’ll also learn to mentor, train, develop, manage, and promote staff, with rewards including pay increases and promotions.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; professional experience can substitute if applicable.
You must hold a full manual UK driving licence, with accommodations for applicants with disabilities who do not drive.
No drug or alcohol-related offences on your driving record within the last five years are permitted.
