Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Greater London for a Recovery RGN/Operating Department Practitioner (ODP). The role involves providing high-quality post-operative care to patients in the recovery setting. Key responsibilities include monitoring patients' vital signs, providing post-surgical support, managing pain, ensuring patient comfort, and collaborating effectively with the clinical team to ensure safe and efficient care. The role also involves documentation and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Familiarity with addiction recovery processes and experience in supporting patients in such environments is beneficial.
* Working knowledge of insurance processes and policies in healthcare settings.
* Ability to train and provide guidance to junior staff when required.
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification with valid NMC or HCPC registration.
* Experience in recovery care or a similar clinical setting is desirable.
* A proactive approach to patient care, focused on safety, compassion, and excellence in clinical practice.
