Pegasus Group welcomes applications for our 2026 Graduate Training Scheme. We invite you to join our dynamic Planning team in our Birmingham office, where you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects for diverse clients. This scheme offers valuable exposure and an excellent start to your career in a supportive training environment.
Please note that due to changes in Government Legislation we are unable to fulfil the remuneration requirements for Graduate level, therefore we cannot accept applications from individuals who hold a Student or Graduate Visa. We continue to support colleagues at later stages in their career, requiring work‑sponsored Visas.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates who have an RTPI‑accredited degree or a similar relevant degree in Geography, Town Planning/Urban Planning or Built Environment.
* A logical and analytical approach
* Great problem‑solving and communication skills
* Ability to use your own initiative and to think outside the box
Work experience in Town/Urban Planning would be advantageous but is not essential as you’ll be learning your new role on the job and with the support from our Graduate Training Scheme.

As a Graduate Town Planner you will work closely with the Planning team in delivering wide‑ranging planning consultancy services on a variety of projects and schemes. You’ll have the opportunity to prepare, submit and negotiate planning applications and statements, support public consultations and site visits, and provide professional advice to clients, local planning authorities and other statutory bodies. You will gain valuable experience and exposure across a range of sectors and a variety of clients to support your development.
