About the Role

UK Air Comms is seeking a commercially driven leader to establish and grow our presence within the UK construction sector.

This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on market entry, business development, and revenue generation, leveraging our proven expertise in telecoms surveying, drone operations, and digital twin technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating our capabilities into construction-focused services, building a client base, and creating a scalable pipeline of work across contractors, consultants, and developers.

This is an opportunity to build a new vertical within an established business.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

Strategic Growth & Market Entry

* Lead the development of UK Air Comms’ construction sector offering
* Define and execute a clear go-to-market strategy
* Position the business as a provider of:
* Drone surveys
* Point cloud capture
* Scan-to-BIM / Autodesk Revit modelling
* Digital twin solutions

Business Development

* Leverage existing industry relationships to open doors and win new business
* Build a pipeline across:
* Main contractors
* Surveying firms
* BIM consultancies
* Secure pilot projects and scale into repeat work
* Develop long-term client partnerships


Commercial Leadership

* Take ownership of revenue growth within the construction vertical
* Shape pricing, proposals, and commercial strategy
* Identify high-value opportunities (e.g. frameworks, large-scale developments)

Collaboration & Delivery Oversight

* Work closely with internal technical teams to:
* Translate client requirements into deliverables
* Ensure high-quality outputs
* Help evolve service offerings based on market demand

* Proven track record in winning work within UK construction or the built environment
* Strong network across:
* Contractors
* Consultancies
* Surveying / BIM environments
* Experience selling technical or surveying-related services
* Commercially focused with a hunter mentality
* Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable building something from the ground up

* Background in:
* Digital surveying / laser scanning
* BIM / digital engineering
* Measured building surveys
* Understanding of UK standards such as the UK BIM Framework
* Experience introducing new services into a market
