As a Branch Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Branch Manager and support the day-to-day running of the branch. You will identify and capitalize on sales opportunities through management of staff and resources, inspiring customers with perfect solutions for their requirements.
The Branch Operations Manager will be an expert at building rapport quickly and creating trusted relationships to ensure we deliver on our promises and exceed expectations. You will deputise in the Branch Manager's absence and have direct responsibility for managing branch colleagues daily. You’ll promote an inclusive team environment and enjoy a fun, engaging workplace!
* Effective management of the team and resources in the absence of the Branch Manager
* Maintain high standards in the branch, preventing loss or damage, and ensuring staff performance and adherence to policies
* Assist the Branch Manager to meet and exceed sales targets profitably
* Manage the sales office, branch purchasing, and stock control
* Maximise margin and net profit
* Control stock management and ordering procedures
* Support branch logistics and fleet compliance in collaboration with the Branch Manager
* Liaise with the contracts supervisor to understand contract business demands
* Ensure safety for everyone in the branch
* Build and maintain relationships with trade and retail customers
* Assist in developing team members
* Support the implementation of 'What Good Looks Like' across the branch
