Opportunity: Workshop Fitter

The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.
Due to growth in our Engineering team, we are now looking for a Workshop Fitter/Engineerto join our supportive and friendly teamin Lisburn.
We are keen to see CV’s from candidates who have experience within one of the following sectors;forklift trucks, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, HGV's, passenger carrying vehicles or similar machinery.
In this role you will be:
* Servicingand maintainingof diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment
* Fault finding, completingplanned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks
* Ensuring customer service is kept to a high level and any queries are addressed
* Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by customers and Briggs Equipment
* Completing job activity electronically and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered
* Ensuring customer relationship are maintained and developed through high standards of service
What will help you to excel in this role:
* NVQ Level 3 or relevant technical qualification
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals
* The ability to work independently and under pressure
* The ability to manage and prioritise workload
* Understanding customer needs
