Role Overview: As a PE Teacher, you will deliver high-quality physical education lessons across Key Stages. You will encourage participation in sport, develop pupils’ skills, and help them build resilience, teamwork, and confidence. As a PE Teacher, you will: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons across various age groups and abilities. Promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among pupils. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Manage behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and inclusive environment. Support extracurricular activities, clubs, and school sports events. Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare. Requirements for PE Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching PE at school level is desirable. Strong knowledge of the physical education curriculum and teaching strategies. Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
