Stores Operative (IT / Logistics)
Location: Salisbury (on-site)Salary: £up to £36,000Security Clearance: SC eligibility required
We are recruiting a Stores Operative to support the day-to-day operation of a secure IT stores environment. This is a hands-on logistics role, working on-site as part of a stores team to ensure IT equipment is received, stored, tracked and dispatched accurately and safely.
You'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by following defined processes, maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring the stores area meets all Health & Safety standards.
Key responsibilities
* Carrying out day-to-day logistics and stores activities in a safe and professional manner
* Receiving, storing, maintaining and dispatching equipment in line with defined processes
* Using inventory management systems and documentation to accurately track stock
* Managing stock control procedures and maintaining inventory accuracy
* Conducting regular stock checks and investigating discrepancies
* Ensuring all stores areas remain compliant with Health & Safety regulations
* Supporting wider stores operations and working to agreed KPIs and SLAs
Skills and experience required
* Previous experience in a Warehouse, Stores or Logistics Operative role
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes
* Comfortable using IT systems and documentation as part of daily work
* Experience working to KPIs and SLAs
* Full Manual UK Driving Licence (essential)
